Members Vote to Finalize Alignment with APEX


The result of the recent membership vote formalized our organization's alignment with APEX(Airline Passenger Experience Association). All votes were in favor of moving forward with the partnership with APEX and related updates to our bylaws! An updated version of the Bylaws can be foundhere.


In working more closely with APEX, we will bring greater value to your membership and association as a whole. Our organizations are stronger together, and these recent changes serve as a great start to 2018 and beyond.IFSA will remain intact as an independent trade association operating within the broader umbrella of APEX. We will continue to maintain the annual EXPO, the board of directors, committees, membership and all programs.

The IFSA Higer Hospitality Supplement is Back!

The April–May 2018 issue of APEX Experience magazine will once again feature a dedicated, removable supplement examining the latest in-flight retail, catering, amenities and service trends. This installment will explore human nature. What makes travelers tick? How do passengers interact with the products and services available to them? What makes people happy, comfortable and ready to spend money in flight? And how can we, as globetrotting humans and responsible companies, stay connected with nature? New For 2018: Auto Renewal, Multi-Year Membership and More!

It’s membership renewal time, and members have options this year, with auto renewals and multi-year memberships! Members will now be able to automatically renew their IFSA membership for one year, as well as have the option of setting up auto-renewals foreither a two-year or three-yearmembership. Also new, beginning next year, dues paid after February 28, 2018 will incur a late fee ($50 Airline & Railway Members; $100 for Supplier and Caterer Members).

Members will receive an email next week detailing this new process, and providing instruction on how you can renew.

In the mean time, please help in keeping our directory up-to-date bydeleting any old members who have since moved on, adding new employees, as well as updating addresses, phone numbers and web addresses if necessary.Clickherefor step-by-step instructions on completing the above.
